Overview
Federal Toastmasters has about 30 active members. Each week, about 15 members show up at each meeting. If you are interested in our club, come as a guest and participate in a meeting. Guests and members from other clubs are always welcome!

Joining Federal Toastmasters is easy. If you want to become a member, please complete the membership form (PDF - 278KB) and bring a check for the appropriate amount to the next meeting. You do not have to be U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) employee to join our club. Although most club members work at USDOT, a few members work at other organizations.

New members must pay a one-time initiation fee. Current and former members must pay the renewal fee which is collected every April and October. Toastmasters is fully endorsed by the Office of Personal Management, whose director in 2000 issued a letter (PDF - 227 KB) encouraging agencies to pay for membership.
